Get those candles out- time for some pampering! Spas in North London

We all need a bit of pampering, especially when it looks like winter is just round the corner! Thanks to the fab recommendations from our friends on twitter and facebook, we have a tantalising selection of the spas. Watch out for the next instalment- there are never too many places for a spot of pampering and we haven't been able to feature all your suggestions!

@MFM_Islington recommends @angeltherapyspa. We have to agree this looks lovely- the Angel Therapy Rooms is a day spa set in a converted Victorian Townhouse. It is an unusual setting each treatment suite is completely unique and designed around principles of light, air and space. The spa promises the highest quality fabrics and heated massage beds complete each luxury space. On offer are a large range of massage and beauty treatments, pamper packages and facials. We particularly like the sound of the Pregnancy Massage and the New Mother Pamper. There is also a range of bespoke organic products.

@Abi_uk and @classicalbabyco both recommend Esporta Spa, housed in the Esporta Health Clubs. There is the option to have a spa membership, which entitles you to a number of inclusive treatments, plus discounts on treatments for you and up to 3 friends, as well as discounts on products. Sounds good? The Spa offers facials, aromatherapy, hot stone treatment and reflexology, as well as a range of beauty therapies . There are also a number of spa and day packages, and mums to be may be interested in the ESPA maternity massage. There are also a number of Autumn spa packages on offer - and quite frankly why not!

If you fancy venturing further afield, @londonbabymum suggests the Spa at Dolphin Square in Pimlico. The Spa is newly opened in October and has a strong Moroccan influence, combining ancient therapies and contemporray spa philosophies. It offers authentic Moroccan Hammam, Rhassoul & Salt Infused and Steam Room experience. The spa features a range of products which reflect the essence of Morrocco. The treatments on offer are very different to traditiona spas. and they include Morrocan cleansing rituals, as well as a range of facials and massages. For mums and mums to be the spa offers a rose pregnancy massage and a post pregnancy skin nourisher- yum. There are a number of day and overnight packages- if you can get away that long!.

Treatments range from traditional thermal therapies to the latest beauty innovations, spa LONDON will help you unwind and escape the stresses and strains of city living. The spa at York Hall includes a thermal spa with six chambers, each housing a different heat treatment, capturing therapies that date back hundreds of years. There are a number of different day Spa programmes including an "MOT for HIM" (does he need it?!) and a New Beginnings package for mothers to be including a Treatment, Prescription Facial and Restorative Pedicure.

We've also been recommended Champneys at Henlow (I must admit I love the Champneys products in Boots!). This is a day or stay Spa in Buckinghamshire, once a monastery, which is set in beatiful grounds that you can walk or cycle in. There are over 80 therapies on offer including manicures, pedicures, facials, body treatments and exclusive treatments including Parafin Wax Bath, Physiotherm, Hypnotherapy and Chinese Body Therapy.
