Remember, remember the fifth of November - Firework Displays in North London

Get those gloves and scarves on- it's bonfire night! Some of the big fireworks displays aren't happening this year due to budget constraints, but do not fear, there are still plenty of opportunities to see great displays and wave your sparklers - here's our pick of what's on....



Thursday

Martin School, East Finchley has fireworks at 6.30pm.

Friday

The Totteridge Fireworks display takes place on Friday 4 November at the Totteridge Millhillians Cricket Club, Totteridge Green, Totteridge, N20 8P . The gates open at 5.00pm, the bonfire will be lit at around 6.30pm, while the fireworks display begins at 7.15pm.

Coram's Fields Fireworks display is taking place from 4.30pm onwards with homemade cakes, hot drinks and glowsticks available for sale. Display at 5.00pm.

Saturday

The Barnet District Scouts Annual Firework Display at Grange Scout Camp Site, Frith Lane,, Finchley, NW7. Hot food, Hot drinks, Games, Sweets galore! Gates open 6pm Display 7.15pm Adults £5, Children aged 11 and under free.

Walker Ground Fireworks Display. The Southgate cricket ground hosts a show with mulled wine, food stalls, children's rides and music from the Bullfrog Blues Band. Doors open 5pm, display at 8pm.

Enfield Town Park. The annual Enfield Town Park Fireworks Display has a reputation as being the best in North London. As well as £12,000 worth of fireworks on display there is a large funfair to keep the crowds warm and happy.


Moss Hall School,187 Nether Street, West Finchley. Fantastic display at lovely local Primary School, Moss Hall. Food and drink for sale. Parking around venue unrestricted, nearest tube, West Finchley. Family £12, adults £5, children £3. Under 3s free. Doors 5.30pm, fireworks 7pm.

Barham Park, Wembley. Combining Bonfire Night fireworks with Diwali style celebrations in a colourful, lively multicultural event, the Barham Park fireworks display is bound to be a popular event in the local calendar. The Barham Park fireworks display takes place at 8.30pm and admission is free. Cassiobury Park, Watford. The event starts at 6pm, with a children’s Fireworks display at 6:15pm. The bonfire will be lit at 7pm and the main Fireworks will commence at 7:30pm.

Bushey Cricket Club has fireworks at 6:30pm with a bonfire followed by a spectacular and professional fireworks display. Individuals £3, family £5.




Elstree and Borehamwood Council has free fireworks 7.30pm at Meadow Park.


Cassiobury Park, Watford has a firework display starting at 6pm, with a children’s Fireworks display at 6:15pm. The bonfire will be lit at 7pm and the main Fireworks will commence at 7:30pm.

Verulamimum Park in St Albans has a display with doors at 6pm and the display will start around 7.30pm. £5 for adults and £2 for children. Proceeds to RNLI and local charities. 


Sunday

St. Martin's School, Northwood has fireworks at 5:30pm. BBQ, refreshments, a selection of pocket money glow toys and a spectacular professional 40 min display to music. Non attending Children & Parents welcome to attend. Tickets on the door.

Butterfly World Project in St Albans has a fireworks display 5-7pm. Fireworks at 6.30pm. There will be a hog roast and hot soup and facepainting (for additional £3.50). Cost is £5 per adult/child and under 3s are free.
