Weekend Round up 14th-15th July

There are lots of great reasons to get out and about with your family this weekend. Here are our favourite things:

Only one more weekend left after this weekend to see the great exhibition - Child Hood - The Real Event at Royal Academy of Arts put on with Kids Company- Paintings, poetry and sculpture created by children and young people from Kids Company are displayed in the main galleries of 6 Burlington Gardens, celebrating the small heroisms and sometimes difficult hurdles these children face in growing up.
This exhibition includes interactive elements and features a complementary programme of events for both adults and families.

Big Dance Week - lots of events across North and Central London. We've included some of the highlights below but there are lots of great events to get you dancing so check the full events listings here.

Regent's Canal Festival -  The festival will stretch from Paddington to Lime House and will showcase a whole host of local talent. Over 100 artists will be exhibiting, including sculpture, music and dance.

Don't let the bad weather get you down, head to Camden Beach at The Roundhouse for some fun in the sand -  Can't escape the city to the seaside? Worry not as the Roundhouse is bringing the beach to you. A great day out to the seaside without having to leave the city. Camden Beach has child-friendly food options and a play area.
