Weekend Round up - 29th and 30th September in London

Autumn is well and truly here now and so our thoughts turn to indoor pursuits to keep the kids occupied. Luckily there is lots of great theatre on this weekend including locally at Arts Depot, Tricycle and Dugdale Theatre. There is also a literary festival, concerts, comedy and much more. Have a great weekend.

Saturday

There are still a few tickets left for the excellent Saturday Spectacular Family Concert at Cadogan Hall. The programme this month includes 1812 Overture. Before the concert there are craft activities and a chance to meet the musicians.

Comedy Club For Kids is back at Soho Theatre bringing laughs for the 8-14 year olds and their parents (who, let's face it probably need them more). They always have an excellent line up.

Skewbald Stories - Big Tales for Little People comes to the Dugdale Theatre in Enfield - These exciting and delightful stories will be brought to life using Skewbald’s magical ingredients of drama, music, song and puppetry taking audiences on a journey of the imagination to far away places with amazing adventures. Suitable for ages 3-7 years. £5.

Tricycle Theatre also restarts its Satuday shows this week with the fun sounding Mrs Bubbles and The Teddy Bears' Picnic - Mrs Bubbles goes off for a nice quiet stroll in the park. Surely nothing is going to spoil it. It’s a lovely sunny day, she has her blanket, her picnic and her book – what could possibly go wrong?…11.30 and 2pm suitable for ages 3-6.
