There's still time to catch some ice skating with the kids. There are rinks open at Canary Warf (open until 16 February) as well as Broadgate Ice Rink (until 27 February). Alexandra Palace Ice Rink is open year round, which also offers term time and holiday classes.
The current show at Little Angel Theatre is the fabulous Dogs Don't Do Ballet. After a sold out run last year, this hilarious story of a small dog with a big personality and even bigger dreams returns. Get ready for beautiful puppets, well loved ballet music and lots of fun!
The Science Museum has loads of different events on across the weekend. We love the sound of Fair Play where kids (in age groupings) can take place in a real science experiment. The experiment takes about 10 minutes and sessions are run 11.00–13.00, 14.00–17.00. There is also Ice Cold Adventure Storytelling at 11am Saturday and Sunday. Explore the wondrous wintry world of Iceland in this fun, interactive storytelling session with erupting volcanoes, giant glaciers and a little bit of imagination.
Back by popular request, the London RAF Museum we will be displaying once again the "Royal Air Force Photographer of the Year" exhibition. Taken by serving Personnel, this exhibition offers the public behind-the-scenes access to the lives of our Boys and Girls at work, rest and play - both at home and in the field whilst giving insight into how the Royal Air Force has developed into the multicultural Service that it is today. The exhibition runs until 28 April.

Green Screen Time Machine is a digital workshop at the British Museum for children 7+ between 11.30 and 3.30. The activity lasts 30- 40 minutes and children can use a green screen and Photoshop to create a picture of themselves interacting with some of the Museum’s most fascinating objects.
The Museum of London, Docklands, is holding a Peg Pirate family workshop for children aged 5 to 11 years. The workshop takes place 11.30 to 12.30 or 2 to 3.
The Phoenix Cinema, Finchley, has a kids club every Saturday starting at 11am, with the film showing at non. This week it is Turbo in 2D. Pre-booking is advised.
We love the sound of "singalong a showtune" with sister mary mcarthur the Saturday morning show at Lauderdale House. Join in with all your favourite songs from the musicals, such as Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, Mary Poppins, Beauty and the Beast, and loads more. Sister Mary, Highgate’s very own star-struck nun, will lead the way. For children aged 3 to 8. Performances at 10 am and 11.30.

Head to JW3 for family fun time with Imagination Station. It’s an original and exciting music and movement session for adults and children using instruments and specially selected equipment. From a fibre-optic space scene to a thrilling underwater expedition, this promises to be a cutting-edge adventure musical activities. For children under 5. Session starts 10.30.
